Welcome to the John Blue Cotton Festival

Once again the John Blue Cotton Festival was blessed with some beautiful weather. Comfortable temperatures and plenty of sunshine allowed festival attendees to enjoy time with family and friends, to browse the vendor area to see the beautifully displayed crafts, clothing, and artwork. The outdoor stage was host to outstanding performances by dance troupes and featured performers. And the food vendors enticed everyone to taste their "goodies", with many folks purchasing additional helpings to take home for a late night snack. It was a great weekend for all.

The committee is at work planning the 2012 festival. On and after March 1, 2012, vendors can download the application for booth spaces. For your convenience a vendor area map is included to assist you in selecting your booth. Please complete the application as soon as can. More details about the upcoming festival and booth requirements are in the brochure.

We look forward to seeing you again this year!

Parking

Attached is a map of available parking spaces that are across the street from the John Blue House. If all of the lots are full, we have a three shuttle buses that will run from the Scotland County Government Complex parking lot located at 1405 West Blvd. about a mile from the festival grounds. Shuttle parking is free and the buses will run frequently.

Entertainment Schedule

The festival lineup this past year featured performances for festival attendees by the The Catalinas, The Oxendines, and Mackie the Mime. Many enjoyed the sounds of the Strolling Street organ and were entertained by Alberti and the antics of his Flea Circus.

Performers for 2012 will be posted prior to the Festival weekend. Likewise, we will post the entertainment schedule after confirmation has been obtained from the performers.
